Know your type, once and for all

Blood Group

£109+ £25 blood draw per visit, however many tests you book2 biomarkersResults in 5–7 working days

Your blood group is one of those facts it is handy to know and carry with you. This test confirms both parts of it: your ABO group (A, B, AB or O) and your Rhesus (RhD) status, positive or negative. Together they define your blood type, information that can matter in an emergency, during pregnancy, or just for your own records.

The test is a single venous draw taken in our private Leigh-on-Sea clinic and analysed by an accredited UK laboratory. Your doctor-reviewed report, confirming your group and RhD status, is clear, definitive and yours to keep for good, since your blood group does not change across your lifetime.

Some are curious; others want it noted ahead of travel, pregnancy or surgery, or because a rarer type can be harder to match should the need arise. Whatever your reason, it is a small, one-off test that answers the question properly. Any related medical decisions remain best made with your GP or relevant specialist.

Preparation: No special preparation is needed. Book a time that suits you.
