Look beneath persistent, unexplained tiredness

Tiredness & Fatigue

£139+ £25 blood draw per visit, however many tests you book18 biomarkersResults in 5–7 working days

Persistent tiredness rarely has a single cause, which is why a broad look often reveals more than a narrow one. This panel examines the most common physical contributors to fatigue in one go: anaemia and iron stores, vitamin B12, folate and vitamin D levels, thyroid function, and blood sugar. It turns a vague, frustrating symptom into something you can investigate.

A full blood count and detailed iron studies can reveal anaemia, one of the most frequent reasons for feeling drained. Low vitamin D, B12 or folate can quietly sap energy, an underactive thyroid slows everything down, and raised blood sugar can leave you flat. Measuring them together helps pinpoint where your tiredness may be coming from.

Your sample is a single venous draw taken in our private Leigh-on-Sea clinic and analysed by an accredited UK laboratory, with a doctor’s report explaining what each result means and any sensible next steps. It is a clear, practical starting point for a conversation with your GP.

Preparation: A morning appointment is preferred. No fasting is required for this panel. If you take vitamin B12, folate or iron supplements, mention them for your report, as they can influence some of the results.

About this test

  • Fatigue has many possible physical causes: anaemia, low vitamins, thyroid changes or raised blood sugar among them. Checking them together makes it far more likely you will find a meaningful answer than testing one at a time.

  • Yes, and that is useful too. Normal results help rule out common physical causes and point you and your GP towards other factors, such as sleep, stress or lifestyle, worth exploring next.

  • Your doctor-reviewed report is usually ready within 5–7 working days of your sample reaching the laboratory.
